A american take on tater tot casserole, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good chicken and pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 2 or 3 c. frozen Tater Tots
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. bell pepper
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can water
- 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
Saute onion, celery and pepper together in butter.
Brown hamburger and drain.
Spray a large casserole with Pam.
Add frozen Tater Tots.
Pour meat and onion mixture over Tater Tots. Heat soup, water and Cheez Whiz; pour over meat mixture.
Bake in a 400° oven until bubbly.
