A home-kitchen version of casserole italiano, written step by step so it's easy to follow built around good beef and pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 c. cooked wide noodles
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 c. cheese
Method
Brown beef with onion and seasonings and combine in a 1 1/2-quart casserole with soup, water and noodles.
Place cheese around edges.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
