A home-kitchen version of dump cake, written step by step so it's easy to follow that's worth the oven time.
Ingredients
- 2 cans pie filling (strawberry or cherry)
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
Method
Pour pie filling into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour cake mix over top of pie filling.
Spread out evenly.
Do not stir.
Cover with butter cut in patties.
Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
